All communications and database transactions are secured with end-to-end TLS 1.3 cryptographic protocols.
We collect only the bare essentials required to process your order, courier delivery, and warranty serial logs.
1. Information We Collect
When you place an order on oasisit.tech, we collect:
- Contact Information: Recipient name, mobile phone number, and optional email address.
- Delivery Information: Physical street address, district, and any specific delivery landmarks.
- Device & Hardware Records: Ordered product SKU, model, storage, color, and unique device IMEI registered on the sales invoice for warranty tracing.
- Technical Metadata: IP address, device browser type, and anonymous session identifiers used for fraud mitigation and cart continuity.
2. How We Utilize Your Information
We process your data strictly for legitimate operational purposes:
- To contact you for phone verification of Cash on Delivery orders.
- To provide your address and mobile number to our authorized logistics partners (e.g. Steadfast, Pathao) for delivery handover.
- To dispatch automated transactional receipts and real-time order status notifications.
- To validate warranty and replacement requests through our technical service lab using registered invoice IMEI records.
3. Data Retention & Secure Infrastructure
Our backend database is hosted on dedicated enterprise Supabase PostgreSQL infrastructure configured with Row Level Security (RLS) policies, preventing unauthorized database inspection.
Order records are retained for the duration of the device's warranty period (12 months) to allow warranty claims, after which identifiable delivery instructions may be archived.
